Drupal 與 NPO/NGO 似乎一直關係菲淺，喜的是開源碼能造福較弱勢的團體，憂的是一般來說 NPO 比較沒人沒錢...

Drupal.org 上有個 Non-Profit Use of Drupal 的討論，列出一些 NPO 採用 Drupal 的例子，可以觀摩觀摩，如果你有作品/案例的話，也可以主動貼上去、為國爭光！

Google 今年的 Summer of Code，以 Drupal 為主題的提案入選了 20 個，去年的成果有目共睹，今年也有許多提案頗具實用性，拭目以待。

明年，有沒有人想出國爭光啊？

上週在美國 Yahoo! 舉辦的2007 Open Source CMS Summit，Drupal 是重點之一，有許多場次在談開發與應用，例如：Ajax 表單設計、社群建置、wiki 實做、搜尋強化、jQuery、OpenID、版型開發、影音平台、XML/Mashup等等。

Drupal.org 整理了一些簡報與影片，是很好的學習資源，有興趣深入瞭解 Drupal 的朋友不可錯過哦！

現在是確定的，Ubuntu 官方網站採用 Drupal 架設。詳情可參見 Matt Nuzum - The New Ubuntu Website (2007/03/14)：

從右到左的語言 right-to-left written scripts,
母語名稱? native language names,
網址路徑與域名的語言選擇 path and domain based language selection
瀏覽器語言偵測 browser language detection
以後不同語言的頁面就可以使用
"hxxp://example.com/espanol/contacto" and "hxxp://example.com/english/contact",
也可以用 "hxxp://english.example.com/contact" and "hxxp://espanol.example.com/contacto"這樣的網址格式

好像是把Movable Type的版型下載回來。複製到gutenberg目錄裡的子目錄。
再將theme-themename.css 或 themename.css 改名為style.css。
