Drupal 6 核心程式已支援 OpenID 2.0！

OpenID 是一個非集中式、安全的單一登入系統，讓你可以使用一組帳號登入所有支援 OpenID 的網站。 Drupal 原本就有類似的功能，但是 OpenID 是一個開放的標準，具有更好的支援和安全性，所以今天我們就要支援 OpenID 摟。

最新發展：

1. 安裝系統的改進，可以為安裝檔案所啟用的模組直接匯入翻譯檔，並且在安裝時先進行一些設定（clean url、時區）。
2. 在安裝模組、版型、語言檔時自動匯入翻譯檔。
3. 多項使用性的改進，可參考 網站討論。
4. 核心裡加入 user status module 和 the HTML corrector module。
5. 檔案管理系統的改進，把檔案連結到使用者、而非節點，讓檔案得以重複使用。
6. 資料庫架構的調整，讓 Drupal 更容易使用其他資料庫，例如 Oracle 和 SQLite。
7. JavaScript aggregator ！
8. 內建模組提供給右到左書寫方式的CSS。

1. 各式 theme system 版型系統的改進：
模組可以直接提供自己的 .tpl.php 樣版檔，以後再也不用自己增加 theme_ 函數了.
Drupal 能夠自動從版型目錄取得樣版，一行程式碼都不用寫，

國外有本新書上市，期待國內也能有這類書籍出現！

Google 今年的 Summer of Code，以 Drupal 為主題的提案入選了 20 個，去年的成果有目共睹，今年也有許多提案頗具實用性，拭目以待。

上週在美國 Yahoo! 舉辦的2007 Open Source CMS Summit，Drupal 是重點之一，有許多場次在談開發與應用，例如：Ajax 表單設計、社群建置、wiki 實做、搜尋強化、jQuery、OpenID、版型開發、影音平台、XML/Mashup等等。

母語名稱? native language names,
網址路徑與域名的語言選擇 path and domain based language selection
瀏覽器語言偵測 browser language detection
