第二次讀書會(2nd Study group meet)

第二次讀書會：

時間(time)：2010年3月20日星期六晚上18:00~21:00。2010.march 20. 6~9PM，召集人jesse手機0988946462，到時會開機。
地點(place)：館前路42號，23884229。海倫咖啡-館前店。(Helen Coffee 交通：捷運至台北車站後見下圖。how to get there:take subway to taipei station and then see the map below)
費用(fee)：參加免費，但需點一杯飲料、最低80元(free but need to order a drink, minimum 80NT)。

內容(content)：

  1. 主題閱讀：30分鐘。同步GOTOP"水滴架站全機能攻略"第六章的taxonomy及第八章的cck、views模組。(30 mins. GOTOP"水滴架站全機能攻略" chap 6 taxonomy、chap 8 cck、views)
  2. 背景知識：15分鐘。簡介html、css，並使用firebug簡單修改garland style.css，讓大家能在html、css同步。(15 mins. html, css, firebug. try to modify style.css of Garland theme)
  3. Q&A： 30分鐘taxonomy、cck、views。(30 mins taxonomy、cck、views)，其他時間自由問答。(the rest of time: free Q&A)

歡迎任何想法(ideas weillcome.)。

附註(P.S.)：

  1. 若沒太多Q&A及大家有興趣，可一起練習Using Drupal(使用Drupal)上的第十章Ubercart installation(安裝Ubercart)或Photo Gallery installation(安裝Photo Gallery)。若沒練習Ubercart或Photo Gallery，我仍會帶練習sample code，大家可copy回家玩，Ubercart及Photo Gallery都用到不少cck、views。(if time left and interested, we may try the ubercart and gallery of Using Drupal.)。Ubercart可見charles的介紹。
  2. 因有外國朋友參加，故中英夾雜。

的驅動程式有問題
我看他們官網
原來電腦剛開始灌的驅動的版本
會造成使用無線網路時
發生記憶體錯誤
而出現藍色畫面

本來的版本號是8
新的版本號是9
如果跟我用一樣無線網卡
要看一下了

對，在 http://usingdrupal.com/source_code 可以下載，節譯Ubercart Online Store一文中也提到 http://usingdrupal.com/source_code 可以下載。只是下載的並非完整做好的source code，仍需自己將許多東西打進去，所提到的放download是說把"現在已完全打進去資料"的source code。這樣，就不用所有的人都去打一次，省些keyin時間。

大約的想法是直接放在下列三個(or未來n個)網站上，大家看了網站外觀，覺得是他要的，立刻可以下載source code，半小時內立刻在localhost裝好，用admin/oreilly帳號登入，看所有的設定，因為drupal很多，有時講不清楚，提問也提不清楚。如，Ubercart Online Store即是很複雜的，直接看source code，進去玩比較省力。

所以，是提供下載與上述網站完全相同的source code，這次讀書會我會帶source code去(上次也帶了基本setup的source code CD去，大約半小時多即install drupal完成)，新手可很快上手，免除了一大堆set up、install這些。

我4點會去。手機99%都不開機，只有特定時候才開，一般來說，我只用email。我也不用msn、即時通....這些線上的東西。凡事離線，可多些時間、空間做自己想做的事(也可避免做自己不想做的事)。幾十年前沒手機(連電話都沒有)，大家生活也ok，甚至於..更輕鬆。不過這是我，現代人可能無法如此生活。哈~

03-20 drupal讀書會：2010年03月20日星期六

本次讀書會主題閱讀是taxonomy、cck、views，背景知識是html、css。工具是firefox及firebug。實習網站是http://usingdrupalchapter3.百加一講壇.tw/。主要使用Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略、Using Drupal 及joetsuihk Drupal 網上教學。以下為我先整理的摘要。供大家再參考參考。

node, region, block, primary link, header, footer, left sidebar, right sidebar： Drupal初始。 Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略1-3~1-4頁。
Drupal安裝：見Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略第三章、第四章。
角色、使用者、權限：Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略6-73頁、6-59頁、6-72頁。
navigation menu6-33頁, administer 8-2頁： Drupal安裝之後。 Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略6-33頁、8-2頁。
node(again)6-9頁, cck8-16頁, taxonomy6-11頁, views8-63頁： Drupal的基本。 Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略6-9頁、8-16頁、6-11頁、8-63頁。

front page6-48頁, teaser6-16頁, url： 關於Drupal的首頁。 Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略6-48頁、6-16頁。
panels：什麼是panels，adsense：什麼是adsense。
cck：什麼是cck。Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略8-16頁。

taxonomy：什麼是taxonomy。Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略6-11頁。

cck和taxonomy如何分辨(Using Drupal 97頁)？見圖三。一言敞之--凡是內容一部份的就是cck，因此不可隨便去掉，taxonomy只是分類，可有可無。

views-page, block, field, arguments, filter, exposed filters, sorting：什麼是views。views中只顯示屬於自己角色的頁面。Drupal6水滴架站全機能攻略8-63頁。
HTML, h1 tag, h2 tag, h3 tag, image tag, a tag：w3school-HTML。drupaltaiwan。
css, firefox---下載, firebug, w3school, css class, css id：Drupal Theming, 模版。

css的class, id：Drupal內的基本css(一)。
使用firebug看theme：Drupal內的基本css(二)。
css理論：css的規則繼承和權重。
firefox及firebug安裝及使用、或這裡。

很棒。如果能成功，那大家就有福了。我們下一次(第三次讀書會)預訂4月3日星期六，時間：6~9pm。或者，時間上大家想早一些？等你場地有回音，我再來po召集第三次讀書會(未來也可大家輪流任召集人)。反正，一切以開放為主。Jimmy, 若場地有時間限制，也請po上來。

這一次外國朋友cedric較沒參與到，他會中文，但和我們的英文能力相去不遠，他有個想法，下次讀書會是否可open大家各自提自己想講些什麼題目？然後教大家。
(Cedric is learning chinese. I feel that the 2nd group meeting is not that benificial to him. so I ask him about his idea. He suggested that it may become open subject in 3rd study group meeting. Participants can propose subject to talk in english or chinese, others can learn from the experience. )

我覺得在第一次讀書會時開放問答很好，大家可捉對問答，會的教不會的，當場解決問題，第三次讀書會是否應有此時段，說不定一開始時，大家陸續到達之時段，先訂一小時自由問答，大家把憋了兩個星期的問題拿出來，先解決。接著講各自的題目。
(i feel that the free Q&A style in the 1st study group meeting is quite helpful to each other. Should we manitain this in the 3rd study group meeting? maybe, The 1st hour is free Q&A. everyone can help each other to solve individule problems)。

今(3/22)6:45~8:45pm我會在第一次讀書會的羅斯福路二段45號麥當勞McCafe二樓，23930023，台北捷運古亭站6號出口。若有空，可來此研究一下這問題和轉.sql檔問題，讀書會時太多人，沒法子解決問題。0988946462,6:30pm左右會開機。

javscript和drupal的互動，我不太懂，要懂，可能需等到了解了Using Drupal第11章theming your site後，對各個.php file(例：.....tpl.php)都有掌握後，才能猜想，而要看懂這些.php file，那我可能得再去複習一下PHP and MySQL Web Development這本900頁書的新版(說不定>1000頁了)。接著，得再練習久未碰的javascript，這麼一來，大約是2012年了，所以，最好有其他高手幫忙。哈~~
