在ubuntu中如何將網址 index.php刪除

我安裝了ubuntu ,之後安裝了drupal7
我瀏覽http://www.example.com 出現了it works 等字句的網頁,
我猜是index.html
之後瀏覽http://www.example.com/index.php ,就出現了drupal7 的系統

我發現每次瀏覽網址都要加index.php 才可以正常運作
請問有沒有方法將http://www.example.com/index.php改成http://www.example.com
