more Drupal distributions!?

CivicSpace Labs 開發了一個安裝程式 - Install Profile System ，可以讓安裝過程更友善/客製化。更進一步，他們將協助Drupal套件的發展，讓使用者也可以很方便地設計自己的Drupal套件（大概是類似IEAK或Fireofx CCK的東西）。

也就是說，很快就可以有Drupal繁體中文版、Drupal blogging edition、Drupal intranet edition之類的東西出現吧。

If you have ever thought that Drupal could have better defaults
during installation, or should have certain modules available in the
base distribution now it's your chance to show off how you would make
a distribution. We hope that by releasing an install profile system
for Drupal several months in advance of the next release of Drupal
we can help spark the creation of innovative new Drupal distributions
and even make Drupal itself a better distribution.
